As you favorite vendors on WeddingHelp, you can assign them directly to each checklist item and track your progress as you go. Everything saves automatically, so you can come back anytime and pick up right where you left off.

How does the wedding guest list and RSVP system work?

You can manage your wedding guest list directly from your My Wedding page. Add guests, group households, and keep track of who is invited all in one place. When you’re ready, you can send RSVP emails right from the guest list, including a one-click option to send invites to everyone who is still awaiting a response. As guests open emails and reply, their RSVP status updates automatically so you always know who’s coming.

Can I invite my partner to collaborate?

Yes. You can share your wedding planning dashboard via a "Share" button in your "My Wedding" page with anybody! And you’ll all see the same checklist, guest-list, and more.

How do I claim my vendor profile?

Accepted Answer

To claim your vendor profile, simply create a normal account, and navigate to the "For Vendors" section. From there, you can press the claim/add button, and fill out a vendor application form. (Yes, you still need to fill this out even if we already have your business listed!) This way you will have full control.

Is there a quicker way to claim my profile if it's already on WeddingHelp?

YES! You can speed up the process and immediately claim your profile if your email address for your WeddingHelp account exactly matches the contact email on your vendor page currently. Otherwise, just fill out a vendor application form, and we are fast, usually same day, or next day.

Do vendors pay to be listed?

Some vendors may pay to be featured, but all vendors are reviewed to keep the directory high quality. We focus on trusted, local professionals across Vancouver Island.

Yes. It's completely free to use for couples and vendors! Vendors do however, have the option to pay to promote their business and have it featured across the site, boosting visibility and quality backlinks.

Do I need a permit for a beach wedding on Vancouver Island?

In most cases, yes. Public beaches on Vancouver Island usually require a permit for wedding ceremonies. The rules depend on the municipality and may include insurance, parking plans, or limits on group size. Provincial parks and First Nations lands follow their own approval processes as well.
