Featured plans are an optional paid upgrade that gets you a lot more visibility: homepage and top-of-search placement, couple leads emailed to you automatically, structured data that AI assistants and Google can read, and performance analytics.

How long does a featured listing run?

The monthly plan renews each month and stays active as long as you keep it. Your business gets extra visibility across the site the whole time, plus a permanent blog mention from day one. The annual plan covers a full year from the purchase date.

What does the blog post mention include?

Accepted Answer

We write a short feature about your business that highlights what you offer and your style. This will be either a standalone post, or in a group of related info. This includes links back to your website and socials.

Do you help me get found through AI like ChatGPT?

Yes, and it matters more every month. A growing number of couples now start planning by asking AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini for vendor ideas, rather than scrolling through Google. The catch is that these tools can only recommend businesses they can clearly read and understand. If you are not set up for them, they simply will not see you. For featured vendors we format your profile so AI can pick it up: structured business details, your dedicated blog feature, and mentions across our local guides that all point back to you. We cannot promise a chatbot will name you on any given day, since they are unpredictable, but we make sure you are set up to be found and we keep improving how often featured vendors get recommended.

What makes a featured listing better for AI than a free one?

A free listing gives AI a name and a few photos. A featured listing publishes your business as rich, structured data that AI assistants can actually read: your packages and pricing, ratings and reviews, FAQs, the regions you serve, your video gallery, and mentions across our guides and a dedicated blog post. That fuller, corroborated picture, being described clearly and named in more than one place, is what an AI assistant needs to recommend you by name. Featured profiles also get a followed link to your own website, which free listings do not.

How will I know if AI is actually sending me couples?

Your vendor dashboard tracks real AI-referred visits, so you can see when couples reach your page from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other assistants. AI engines are unpredictable and we will never promise a guaranteed mention, but featured vendors are set up to be found, and you can watch those AI-referred visits build over time right in your analytics.

Does my listing help my own website rank on Google?

Every vendor profile links to your website, but how much it boosts your Google ranking depends on your plan. Free listings: couples find you in our directory and click through to your site, so you get real traffic. Your business name also shows up in Google searches because your profile page on weddinghelp.ca gets indexed. We do not actively pass any ranking power to your site though, so it will not directly help your site rank higher for other searches. Featured vendors: all of the above, plus we tell Google we recommend your business. Google treats that as a vote of confidence, which over time helps your own site rank higher when couples search for things like wedding photographer in Victoria. Featured plans also include a dedicated blog post about your business that links back to your site, which keeps building your search ranking as long as the post is up.

How does the Find My Vendors lead system work?

Couples fill out a short form on our Find My Vendors page describing their wedding (date, location, budget, style). Our matching system surfaces the best-fit local vendors, and featured vendors are always shown higher in the results. If you opt in, we automatically email you the couple's wedding details every time you are matched, so you can follow up directly. You can opt in or out anytime from your vendor dashboard.

Can I cancel the monthly plan?

Yes, anytime. Just head to your billing page and cancel before your next renewal date. No penalties, no questions asked.

How do I get started?

Accepted Answer

Just claim or add your vendor profile. It is completely free. Submitting your application only takes a couple of minutes, then we will review and verify it shortly after. Once you are approved, you can decide if you want to promote your business further.

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

We keep things simple. The monthly plan is non-refundable for the current billing period, but you can cancel before the next renewal and you won't be charged again. The annual plan is partially refundable if you cancel within the first 6 months, in which case you'll be refunded for the remaining 6 months. After that point it's non-refundable.

Is there a contract or ongoing commitment?

No contracts. Both plans are subscription based and you can cancel from your billing page at any time. The monthly plan renews each month, and the annual plan renews once a year.
