Agar's Corner sits on land the Agar family has occupied since 1906, now in its fifth generation. After a 2018 fire destroyed the original farmhouse, a new larger facility was built to accommodate weddings and events. The venue offers a 60-seat indoor dining room and a 200-seat Cover-All facility with attached outdoor patio, plus gardens for ceremonies and park-like grounds for photos.
The food is a major draw. Menus feature home-cooked style dishes served buffet style, with signature items like maple ribs slow-roasted over wood chips with house-made rub and Canadian maple syrup, stuffed pork loin with apple compote made from trees on the property, and roast beef done over wood chips. All desserts are homemade. The menu is flexible and can be customized. Agar's Corner caters both on-site and off-site for groups of all sizes, and they manage everything so you can focus on enjoying your day.
