Barr Estate Winery is a working sheep and fruit farm in Sherwood Park, just minutes from Edmonton. Rick and Amy Barr craft small-batch wines using raspberries, rhubarb, sour cherries, and other heritage fruits grown on their property. The farm has hosted birthday parties, corporate events, family gatherings, and weddings.
For ceremonies, the outdoor setting accommodates up to 150 guests and includes a 2400 sq ft indoor venue as weather backup, vintage entry doors, two ceremony archways, and numerous spots for photos. Reception space seats up to 120 guests at tables, with last call at midnight. The farm also offers winery tours and tastings year-round, with tours by appointment and casual tastings welcome daily.
