What does renting the wedding venue include?
When you rent Duck Creek Farm for your special day, you have access to:
- one farm staff,
- two 20x20' white wedding tents (set up where you want them),
- 20' octagonal wedding tent (with optional walls),
- 20' octagonal platform,
- access to our walk-in cooler,
- kitchen facilities,
- use of main floor of farmhouse,
- 2 picnic tables that seat 10 people each,
- use of bathroom for wedding party and elderly,
- use of outhouse and port-a-potty for guests,
- a live edge table,
- bar area,
- various chalkboards and signage,
- benches,
- hay bales (when available),
- dishes and cutlery for 60+ people,
- cloth napkins,
- various outdoor seating options,
- optional: 10x10 tent and folding tables.
The cost also includes access to the farm for set up the day before and until 2:00 pm the following day for clean up.
Where will the ceremony take place?
Guests have the choice of getting married by our picturesque pond, on our "yoga platform" (a 20' octagonal cedar deck overlooking the pond), or on the lawn by the farmhouse. All ceremony locations have access to electrical outlets.
Can Duck Creek Farm accommodate various sizes and styles?
Yes, the spacious grounds allow us to host weddings of various sizes and styles. There is a 10% discount for parties of less than 50 people, and we can accommodate up to 175 guests. The natural ambience requires minimal decoration, making it suitable for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. Depending on the number of people, an additional port-a-potty may be required.
Are there recommended caterers for the wedding, or can couples bring their own?
While Duck Creek doesn't handle food service, we can recommend excellent caterers who love to use the farm's produce. Guests are also welcome to bring their own caterers, and the farm can assist in finding set up and take down crews if needed. We have also accommodated food trucks in the past.
Is there on-site accommodation for the wedding guests?
Accommodation isn't included in the rental, but guests may camp in the meadow for a reduced rate of $20/person/night. Additionally, a furnished tipi is available for rent, accommodating two people at $95/night.
How does the payment schedule work for renting Duck Creek Farm?
The payment schedule involves a $1,000 non-refundable deposit upon booking, with half of the remaining payment due three months before the celebration. The remainder, along with a $1,000 damage deposit, is due three weeks before the wedding.
Can couples arrange to visit Duck Creek Farm before booking?

What time do we have use of the space until?
There is no amplified music allowed after 11 pm, and the party should be winding down by midnight.
Is there a bar?
e have a nice covered area that can be used for a bar if desired. Guests are required to apply for a Special Event Permit if serving alcohol ($25)
