About

Filberg Park is a nine-acre waterfront property in Comox with breathtakingly landscaped grounds, 130 varieties of rare and exotic trees, seasonal gardens, and heritage buildings dating back to the early 1930s. The park overlooks Comox Harbour and is home to the historic Filberg Lodge, an Arts and Crafts style residence built in the 1930s featuring leaded glass windows, hand-hewn cedar, and rustic elegance.

The park offers five ceremony spaces with varying capacities. The Upper Meadow accommodates up to 200 guests with views of Comox Harbour and Glacier. The Grape Arbour, a 90-foot covered aisle draped in grapevine and wisteria, holds up to 150 guests. The Front Lawn by the Lodge suits intimate gatherings of up to 40 with ocean views framed by majestic trees. The Big Leaf Maple Oasis is a semi-secluded spot for up to 25 guests, and the Harbourview Lawn offers waterfront views for up to 150.

Your ceremony rental includes venue access from 10am to 5pm, use of the heritage gardens, white plastic folding chairs, a wood signing table with bench, three parking spaces, directional signs, and a one-hour rehearsal with final consultation. The park is open year-round and operates as a certified wildlife-friendly habitat. All ceremonies include access to two sets of accessible washrooms throughout the grounds.
