About
Flowers On Top was started in 1990 in Victoria BC, initially as a flower cart at Fort and Government and then expanding to flowers on top of tables in restaurants (hence the name). We moved into the lobby of 1005 Broad Street to try out a permanent retail space and operated there for 35 years.
We've been going to the United Flower Growers auction in Burnaby every week for the last 35 years and pride ourselves on sourcing the freshest BC grown product. It's a pleasure to buy locally as there is such an abundance grown in the Fraser Valley and Vancouver Island and with that we are able to sell product that lasts well, is better for the environment and supports local businesses. We love to be creative in our work and our designs are clean, abundant and European in style. We continually strive to let the natural beauty of the flowers shine above all else.
We hope our joy and passion for our business and the flower industry is evident in the product we create.
