The studio handles everything from concept to execution. Their floral work spans bouquets (described as loose, organic, seasonal), boutonnières, ceremony installations, centrepieces, and custom arrangements for forgotten spaces like cake tables and entrances. On the decor side, they work with linens, backdrops, place settings, lighting, displays, and custom-built pieces.
Frid Events is the exclusive design partner for the National Arts Centre, handling florals, décor, and stationery for weddings and events there. The studio has designed over 675 events and created nearly 1,940 bouquets since launching. Their approach emphasizes detail orientation, personalized consultation, sustainable practices, and quality blooms sourced locally and seasonally when possible.

When should we book a florist for our event?
Ideally as soon as you pick your venue and have a rough guest count. From there, you can work together to determine the style and quantities of florals you'll need.
What happens to the flowers after the event?
Guests may take home the flowers, but all rentals (including vases) need to remain at the venue. Any florals not collected will be returned to the studio for disposal.
Can you guarantee specific bloom types for my event?
The team uses a blend of premium and standard blooms with no filler, sourcing locally and seasonally when possible in your exact colour palette, but cannot guarantee specific blooms.
