FAQs
What does a professional DJ do that an iPod playlist cannot?
A professional DJ actively monitors the dance floor energy and selects music to match or adjust the vibe. They use high-quality, professional-grade equipment they know how to operate, maintain an extensive music library to handle unexpected requests, eliminate gaps between songs through beat-mixing, and ensure the best songs play at optimal moments, not when guests are seated or outside.
Why should I hire Grindstone Productions specifically?
Grindstone is the only DJ company in Edmonton offering both five-star DJ and professional wedding photography in one place. The team has 20 years in business, over 400 five-star reviews, and every entertainer brings a minimum of 10 years of wedding experience plus performances at over 200 weddings. Backup staff and equipment are always available for peace of mind.
