Gull Harbour Marina and Lighthouse Inn sits on the northern tip of Hecla Island in Hecla-Grindstone Provincial Park, about two hours north of Winnipeg. The venue offers a tranquil waterfront setting with views of Lake Winnipeg and dense forests. The Lighthouse Restaurant seats up to 120 guests and features local fish and lakeside views. For ceremonies, couples can exchange vows on the private beach or use the screened patio and sunset deck. The facility provides full food and beverage services, and overnight guests can stay in one of several accommodation options including cabin-style rooms and a private 2-bedroom cabin with kitchenette.
The property also serves corporate retreats, golf tournaments, family reunions and other celebrations year-round. Do you have accommodations for overnight guests?
Yes. The property has 12 motel rooms available year-round in three styles (6-plex, 4-plex, and 2-plex), plus one fully independent 2-bedroom cabin with a kitchenette. All rooms face the water with Lake Winnipeg views.
Is a provincial park pass required to visit?
Entry to provincial parks is free for a year starting April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026. After that, passes can be purchased or printed at the Gull Harbour store for $1.00. A fishing license is required if you plan to fish.
