Is a hair and makeup trial needed before the wedding?
It's entirely optional. About 60-70% of clients book a trial, but many skip it if their look is simple, they live far away, or they trust the work. Trials are recommended if your style is complex, you're unsure about looks, your hair or skin needs special care, or you want peace of mind. Trials are 1.5-2 hours at the Niagara Falls studio and include one hairstyle and one makeup look, or two of either.
What setup do you need at a wedding location?
Natural light near windows is ideal. You'll need table space (dining rooms work great), chairs with clear access to hair, working outlets, music, and good ventilation. Bar stools are bonus for makeup application. Let them know ahead of time if space or light is limited so they can bring extra lighting or adjust their setup.
What cities in the Niagara region don't have travel fees?
No travel fees apply to Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, St. David's, St. Catharines, Chippawa, Welland, and Thorold for bookings of three or more. Port Colborne and Fort Erie are charged at $1 per kilometre. Beyond a 2-hour radius, travel fees apply both ways.
