Kaycee is a born and raised 4th generation farmer turned Alberta country wedding photographer. She started her photography business to fund her cattle operation, and after photographing over 100 weddings, she brings a unique understanding of farm life and country culture to every shoot. She's happiest capturing tent weddings on family farms, community halls, and barn venues, and she especially loves including livestock and farm animals in photos.
Through her years in the industry, Kaycee has curated a list of hand-picked country wedding vendors she trusts and recommends. What should I include in my bridal details setup?
Gather your dress, rings, shoes, veil, bouquet, hair pieces, jewelry, invitations, and any sentimental keepsakes in one spot with good natural light. Unwrap your dress but don't worry about styling it. Kaycee will style everything beautifully. For your groom, include his shoes, socks, cuff links, tie or bow tie, pocket square, boutonniere, and rings.
How long does the photography timeline take on wedding day?
If you're doing a first look, plan for about 2 hours of photos pre-ceremony. Family portraits take about 30 minutes, bridal party portraits around 15 minutes, and couple portraits about 30-45 minutes. For a traditional ceremony reveal, all photos are typically done before or immediately after the ceremony, depending on sunset timing and daylight availability.
