Nancy at Kiex Fotography brings a laid-back, creative approach to every shoot. She's fascinated by capturing split-second moments and thrives on authenticity, color, and spontaneity. Her style is whimsical and eclectic, and she loves finding unexpected beauty in ordinary places.
She studied Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba (completed thesis in 2008) and has been photography her entire life, raised by two photographer parents. She offers wedding packages ranging from 8 to 12 hours, complementary engagement sessions, and family, maternity, anniversary, and portrait photography. Nancy is an experienced traveler with a valid passport, happy to shoot weddings and events worldwide, and has photographed in various countries including Mexico and Scotland. She also has a cabin past Lac Du Bonnet where she loves to shoot.
Her work emphasizes capturing authentic moments alongside the important details. She's comfortable shooting solo or with a second photographer, provides location scouting help and timeline advice, and shoots with Nikon equipment. Edited high-resolution files and online galleries are included with all packages.

How far in advance should we book for our wedding?
Book as soon as possible. Booking is first-come, first-serve, and securing your date requires a signed contract and non-refundable retainer. Booking well ahead (a year to 18 months) ensures availability, especially since the venue and photographer are typically among the first decisions couples make.
What is included in your wedding packages?
All packages include high-resolution edited JPG files for personal use with print release, online password-protected gallery, and a complementary engagement session before the wedding. Raw files are not available. A second photographer can be added for $500.
How long does it take to receive edited photos?
During peak wedding season (May-October), turnaround is typically 6-8 weeks. November through April, expect 3-4 weeks. Nancy works to deliver photos as quickly as possible.
