Lune 1860 is a private event venue built in 1860 as a country estate on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Neutral peoples. The manor sits on 88 acres of wildflowers, grassy fields and century-old trees near Goderich, Ontario, bordering the Maitland River and minutes from Lake Huron. The property's eight distinct spaces are named after phases of the moon and can be booked individually or combined for larger gatherings.
The venue accommodates ceremonies, receptions and celebrations for up to 100 guests. Hospitality Design magazine honoured it as the Best and Most Innovative Event Space Design. The main floor of the house is the event space; couples can bring their own preferred vendors with no landmark fees, or use Lune's list of recommended caterers, planners, florists and other partners. You must source your own tables, chairs and tableware, though the team can refer local rental companies. The venue is also available for engagement photoshoots by the hour with a three-hour minimum.
