Laura Reino is a cake artist who draws on her fine arts background to create wedding cakes that feel like edible art. She works with buttercream as her paint, using a palette knife and fresh flowers as inspiration to design cakes that bridge fine art and baking. Every cake is made from scratch using high-quality ingredients and tastes as good as it looks. Based in Toronto and serving the GTA, Palette and Petal Cakes specializes in custom designs tailored to your vision. After booking, Laura creates a hand-drawn pencil sketch and develops a complete colour palette based on your consultation and mood boards. Tiered cakes are available in single to five-tier configurations, with pricing starting at $240 before delivery.

FAQs
Do you offer cake tastings?
Yes. Wedding tasting boxes are available approximately every 3 months for $35, which includes 4 different flavours. If you book, the tasting cost applies toward your final invoice for orders $750 and above.
What's your booking process and payment policy?
A $250 booking deposit is required to reserve your date. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel. Full payment is due 3 weeks before your event. After booking, Laura provides a hand-drawn sketch and colour palette for your approval.
Do you deliver, and what materials do you use?
Yes, delivery is available based on distance. Laura works exclusively with Swiss meringue buttercream, so every part of your cake is edible and not overly sweet. She does not offer gluten-free or dairy-free options at this time.
