Jenny documents weddings as they actually unfold—natural, emotional, and completely unique to each couple. She shoots documentary-style (fly-on-the-wall mixed with gentle direction) and loves incorporating Manitoba's nature into portraits. With over a decade of experience, she handles everything from intimate cabin weddings to destination events across Canada. Her focus is on the teeny stories within the day that tell the bigger picture, and she believes the best photos happen when couples forget they're being photographed.

Will we look natural and comfortable in our photos?
Jenny uses a documentary approach and will guide you through posing beforehand so you feel at ease. By your wedding day, you likely won't even notice her photographing. She mostly captures moments as they happen, with dedicated time carved out for formal and creative nature-based shots.
What should we expect for timing on our wedding day?
Plan for roughly 1.5 hours with the couple and wedding party, 30 minutes for family photos, and 30 minutes at sunset. The full day gets mapped out well ahead of your wedding and timing varies depending on your celebration's flow.
How long have you been photographing weddings?
Jenny has been photographing weddings since 2013 and typically shoots 10 to 15 weddings per year. She continues to learn through technical courses, workshops, and by second shooting with other photographers to evolve her craft.
