Rev. Deb Vaughan is a licensed officiant in Ontario with over 20 years of ministry experience. She offers ceremonies built around your story, whether that's a short elopement, an intimate vow renewal, or a garden wedding. Her philosophy is simple: your wedding, your way.
The Wee Wedding Cottage in Niagara-on-the-Lake provides an all-in-one option, with the officiant and venue bundled at one affordable price. The indoor Sunroom Chapel fits up to 6 people year-round and works well for elopements. The Promise Garden Gazebo accommodates up to 12 and operates seasonally (May 15 to October 31). Couples can also book Rev. Deb for ceremonies at their own locations around the Niagara region. All love is welcome here—she's proudly inclusive and affirming of LGBTQ+ couples.
Services range from simple 15-minute ceremonies to more involved celebrations, and you can write your own vows, arrange a photographer, or add other special touches. Virtual vow renewals are also available.

Do same-sex couples have the same rights to marry in Ontario?
Yes. There are no special requirements for same-sex couples marrying in Ontario. Rev. Deb is proudly inclusive and rainbow affirming, and the Community Catholic Church of Canada recognizes and blesses same-sex marriages as sacramental.
Can we write our own vows?
Absolutely. You can bring your own vows to personalize the ceremony and make it uniquely yours.
How long does a ceremony typically last?
Ceremonies generally run between 15 and 40 minutes. Lengthy ceremonies tend to become uncomfortably long for guests.
