Sophie's Gown Shoppe has been a tradition in Southwestern Ontario since 1948, when Sophie and John Stronski founded the business in London and handmade every gown. Over 75 years later, the shop remains family-owned and operated, now with four locations serving Mississauga, Windsor, Kitchener, and London.
The boutique carries designer collections including Justin Alexander, Paloma Blanca, Morilee, Allure Bridals, Essence of Australia, Stella York, Maggie Sottero, Alyce Paris, and Madi Lane. They offer a wide range of styles: designer gowns, budget-friendly options, plus-size dresses, bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-bride looks, and accessories. The third generation of the Stronski family continues the legacy, with Sophie herself still working in the stores.
The shop has created over 10,000 moments and maintains more than 1,800 five-star Google reviews. Appointments can be booked at any location.
