Dalana started baking at four years old and trained at Vancouver Community College in pastry arts, then attended the Bonnie Gordon School for Cake Design in Toronto. She's worked in chocolate shops, catering, and as an assistant cake designer before launching The Cake And The Giraffe.
Every cake is hand-crafted and tailored to each client. Dalana works with figure modeling, hand painting, sculpting, and landscape designs. Her portfolio includes custom wedding cakes and special occasion cakes, many featuring real or hand-crafted sugar flowers. She's passionate about creating something unique rather than replicating designs.
