The White Poplar is a wedding and event venue on 70 acres of treed land in the RM of St Clements, about 20 minutes north of Winnipeg on Highway 59. The owners, AJ and Dillon Nunes, local Manitobans and high school sweethearts, built the venue to balance aesthetics, budget, and guest experience.
The property includes a 3,456 sq ft covered pavilion with clear automated curtains, outdoor ceremony seating and arbour, and a greenhouse for rainy day portraits and ceremonies. Amenities cover climate-controlled restrooms, catering prep room, two bridal prep suites, on-site parking, chandelier lighting, and a propane fire pit. The venue is pet-friendly and wheelchair accessible. You can choose your own licensed caterer, and professional DJ service for up to 10 hours is included with rental.
