Token Weddings is a tight-knit team of photographers, videographers, artists and storytellers based in Kitchener-Waterloo. They specialize in hand-crafted cinematic wedding films and timeless photography, capturing your wedding day through stunning cinematography.
The team uses Sony mirrorless cameras and professional video equipment including gimbals, sliders, LAV mics, and LED lighting. Drone cinematography is included with all film packages (weather permitting). They offer both videography and photography packages at multiple tiers, with combined package discounts available. All photo deliverables come in color and black and white, hosted on a custom Pixieset online gallery.
Data backup is taken seriously with multi-drive NAS RAID storage, cloud backup, and redundant working drives. They limit the number of weddings taken on annually to ensure quality and on-time delivery. Travel-friendly for destination weddings, with potential travel cost coverage requested for locations outside the Kitchener-Waterloo area.

How do you handle data backup and storage of footage?
All camera and audio data is copied immediately to a local multi-drive NAS RAID server after the wedding, then backed up to the cloud, and copied again to working drives for editing. This redundancy ensures your footage is safe and protected.
Can you provide raw video footage or raw photos?
Raw footage and photos are generally not delivered because they are cumbersome to transfer and difficult to view on standard computers. All the polished content is included in the highlight film or photo collection, so nothing is held back.
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Yes, the team is happy to travel anywhere. For locations outside Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas, travel costs and accommodations may be requested.
