Reviews are the first thing couples check on your page, and they move you up in the WeddingHelp directory, in Find My Vendors, and in what AI assistants say about you. The good news: your couples don't have to sign up or remember a password. Leaving a review takes about a minute.
Before you start
Make sure you're signed in with the account linked to your vendor page. Haven't claimed it yet? How to Claim or Add Your Vendor Profile.
Option 1: Let us email your couples
- Go to your vendor dashboard and find Get more reviews.
- Under Ask a couple by email, type their name and email. Add up to 10 couples at once.
- Click Send request.
We send each couple a short, friendly email from WeddingHelp that says you asked us to. It has a row of stars: tapping one opens your review page with that rating already picked. Their review goes live on your page as soon as they post it, and we email you when it does.
Under the form, Show sent requests lists everyone you've asked and who has reviewed.
Option 2: Share your review link
Your link is weddinghelp.ca/review/your-business. Find it in the same card,
with three ready-to-send messages (text, email, and Instagram or Facebook)
you can copy in one click.
- Text or email it with your thank-you message after the wedding.
- Add it to your email signature or your website's contact page.
- Print the QR code (Download PNG) on thank-you cards, invoices, or a sign at your studio.
Anyone who uses the link gets a one-tap email to confirm the review is really from them, and then it goes live.
Tips that work
- Ask within a couple of weeks of the wedding. It's fresh, and they're still riding the high.
- Ask everyone, not just the happiest couples. A mix of real reviews is more convincing than a wall of perfect ones.
- Even three or four reviews make a real difference on a page that has none.
The fine print
- Please don't offer gifts, discounts, or anything else in exchange for a review.
- Each couple can be asked twice at most, and anyone can opt out of review requests with one click.
- You can't review your own business, and we block reviews from your own email address or domain.
- Reviews can't be edited or removed by vendors. If something breaks our rules (fake, abusive, or not about your business), contact us.
